Monash Art Projects (MAP) is a research-led practice of artists, architects, designers and theoreticians seeking to transform how we think of art in the public sphere.

Through a host of contexts and outcomes including exhibitions, conferences, and public art projects - some propositional, some temporary, some permanent - we critically and poetically reanimate how we regard and experience urban space.

MAP is driven by a community of staff who focus on critically informed creative activity at the highest level and bring to their research expertise and dedication which reflect the diverse approaches found in contemporary visual culture and the built environment.

MAP is keenly interdisciplinary both within the collaborative and multidisciplinary field of Contemporary Art Practice and also, crucially, across Architecture and Design.
